In 1918, brothers Karl and Franz Hagenauer took over their father’s metalworking business and led the esteemed Viennese workshop to international acclaim. Their timeless designs helped shape the aesthetics of 20th-century decorative arts. Today, objects from Werkstätte Hagenauer are highly sought-after collector’s items, with particular demand for the hand-hammered sculptures.
