Johann Loetz Witwe

Inspired by the iridescent art glass of Louis Comfort Tiffany, glass manufacturer Max Ritter von Spaun, owner of the Johann Loetz-Witwe glassworks, began producing colorful decorations for his own glasses at the end of the 19th century. Famous designers such as Josef Hoffmann, Koloman Moser, Adolf Beckert, Otto Prutscher and Michael Powolny provided designs for this glassworks. Be inspired by the lightness, the richness of color and the timeless design of these quite extraordinary objects of art.
