    Description

The Titania decor group is one of the most elaborate styles produced by Loetz in their company history. Executions in these variants consistently posed new challenges for the artisans, and each vase slightly varies in its decor. The elegant design of this art glass is an outstanding example of this generation of decorative variants by Loetz around 1907. Brown in the upper third, the glass is entwined with dense silver-yellow iridescent threads, and the undulating extended bands evoke the distant sound of the sea, as the waves gently break on the shore.
