    Description

The decor variants of the Loetz glass works were often strongly oriented towards the prevailing taste of art, as was the Cytisus decor. Examples of this type of art design can also be found in the “Beethovenfries” by Gustav Klimt or in the illustration art around the Vienna Secession. The rhythmic decoration mixed with seemingly organic design elements were typical features of this creative period.
Cytisus was a very successful decoration and was executed in four different color variations. Among the most beautiful variations are “may-green” and “new-red”, like our example.
