    Description

The vase is an in-house design of glass manufactory Johann Loetz-Witwe. With its organic form, documented from 1899, it can be well classified in the group of those vessels produced in the run-up to the World Exhibition in Paris in 1900.
Curved shapes enhance the wavy decoration and impressions above the base further emphasize the dynamic decor. Its red ground is also a special feature. Vases with ruby red underlay were manufactured only until 1899 and are accordingly sought after by Loetz-collectors.
