    Description

The present vase in the shape of a tree trunk belongs to the rather rare phenomenon decors, identified as 1/473. Three openings in the Creta underlaid textured wall break up the unusual shape of a tree trunk and emphasize the extravagant appearance of this glass vessel. This eccentric example of glass art, with its highly iridescent silver-yellow powder fusions, is a vivid showcase of the experimental spirit of Loetz glassworks and a dazzling highlight of any collection.
