    Description

Johann Loetz Witwe was one of the most renowned glass manufacturers of the Viennese Art Nouveau and gained fame for its artistically crafted vases made of colorful, highly iridescent glass. This finely crafted centerpiece featuring a Loetz bowl is a particularly beautiful example of the elegant functional and decorative objects that defined refined home decor in Vienna around 1900. The three-legged, gilded brass stand, with its delicate, curvilinear design and stylized floral elements, serves as a support for a shallow glass bowl with a wavy rim. With its violet hue, marbled surface texture, and the iridescent shimmer that changes in the light, the unidentified decor creates a striking contrast with the gilded metal mount.
