Bronze sculpture “The Soft Movement” Mario Dalpra 2023

Mario Dalpra, born in Feldkirch, Vorarlberg in 1960, is working as a painter and sculptor. Since he first started creating bronze works in 2006, they have become signature pieces in his body of work. Characteristic of his cast bronze sculptures are flowing, organic forms. Dalpra pays particular attention to the surface design. This red piece is enhanced with an elaborate three-layer lacquer finish. Dalpra achieves a shimmering depth effect by initially silver-patinating the sculpture and then applying the high-quality lacquer in three layers. The silky smooth surface adds an additional sensual component to “Th Soft Movement”.
