This vase impresses with its extraordinary height and twisted shape. Originally it was designed by Christopher Dresser for another glassworks. As a commissioned model for the company Max Emanuel, Loetz added it to its own production program* from 1900 onwards.
The most striking feature of the tall vase is its distinctive, almost triangular shape, tapering towards the top. Large, delicately executed droplets in different lengths emphasize the dynamics of the twisted vessel. At the same time, they form a beautiful counterpoint to the evenly warped, horizontal decoration on the glass body.
