Loetz vase PG 1/473 ca. 1901

This delightful vase is Loetz in a classic style. Harmonious in its organic shape, the decor emphasizes the floral idea of the vessel. Our vase is remarkable due to its rather rare Phenomen Genre decoration on “Creta”-green ground and the signature “Loetz Austria” at the bottom.
Both makes the heart of every collector beat faster.
Silver oxide particles of different sizes and elongated shapes cover the entire lower part of the vessel and with their yellowish shimmer form a beautiful contrast to the monochrome surface on the upper part. In addition, a uniform iridescence gives the “Creta”-green ground an ethereal bluish shimmer.
