    Description

In addition to sculptures of people and animals, decorative objects, and metal works, the craftsmen at the Hagenauer workshop also created models of cars, locomotives, and boats. Particularly notable are the sailboats, which were produced in a wide range of variations, from small dinghies to large Viking ships.

The sailboat stands out due to the masterful combination of different materials—wood, brass, and copper. The unique properties of these materials create striking contrasts in color and surface texture, showcasing the workshop’s expert handling of diverse materials and their ability to blend aesthetic appeal with craftsmanship.
