Midcentury wardrobe Carl Auböck ca. 1950

This coat rack, model no. 4547, manufactured by Werkstätte Auböck in Vienna, is almost a design classic. It consists of two beechwood profiles connected by screwed-on crossbars. Six brass hooks find their place on these bars, with their arrangement customizable according to individual preference. The coat rack captivates with a charming patina and is in a wonderful vintage condition, with minimal signs of age-related wear, enhancing its authenticity. Although not explicitly marked, an image of the coat rack can be found in the catalog of works produced by the renowned Carl Auböck workshops from the 1940s. This is an early execution.
