    Description

Our vase, crafted from green Creta glass, is enveloped in a sculptural network of colorless threads. Its rounded body is subtly ribbed vertically, culminating in a wave-like rim that curves outward. The “chiné” decoration is a direct precursor to the Phenomenon Genre decor and was frequently used for vases intended for metal mounts. The brass mount of our vase features two gracefully extended handles, elegantly curved and accentuated by large, applied floral motifs. The ornamental design of the base and other details are meticulously chased. Its floral, curvilinear design makes this vase a striking example of early Art Nouveau.
