    Description

This vase belongs to a group of glass pieces featuring a raised thread decoration, all crafted in the Candia Silberiris desor. The Silberiris decor was developed around 1899 and gained widespread acclaim at the 1900 Paris Exposition.

In this particular piece, the applied glass threads extend along the body of the vase, elegantly curving at the base to form five delicate feet. The vase’s rounded form provides a generous surface for the striking iridescence of the decor to fully unfold.
