    Description

Werkstätte Hagenauer’s portfolio included numerous animal representations, with horses holding a particularly prominent position. Depictions of riders and horses run like a red thread throughout the entire body of work by Karl and Franz Hagenauer.

The small, leaping horse is only subtly stylized and is among the more realistic pieces created by the workshop. The dynamically flowing mane adds a unique sense of liveliness to the figure.
The warm brass tone enhances the horse’s elegance, making it a particularly decorative collector’s item.
