    Description

Among the most popular export items of the Werkstätte Hagenauer were bird-shaped centerpieces. As early as the 1930s, these decorative vessels were designed and manufactured, for example, in the shape of herons, pelicans or swans. Our stylized bird is skillfully chased from one piece of brass, the feet and the plinth are delicately soldered on. As a table centerpiece, the bulbous bird body lends itself as a bowl and a fine hammered decoration adorns the entire surface. The decorative vessel impresses with fine proportions and elegant lines from the tip of the beak to the curled tail feathers.
