ART&ANTIQUE Residenz Salzburg

This year we showcased selected design objects by Werkstätte Hagenauer. One of our highlights was certainly the life-size piano player by Franz Hagenauer, whose Jazz musicians have achieved cult status among collectors. Equally impressive was a sculptural horse’s head, reduced yet very expressive, masterfully carved and adorned with a copper mane.
As part of our Viennese-Jugendstil-assortment, we presented a selection of exquisite Loetz vases as well as collector’s items from the Wiener Werkstätte. Paintings by established Austrian artist complemented our exhibition.
