The Winter Show – New York

Kunsthandel Nikolaus Kolhammer looks back on a successful debut at The Winter Show 2025 in New York. At the beginning of the year, a curated selection of 20th-century works was presented, featuring significant pieces from the Wiener Werkstätte as well as vases from the renowned Loetz glassworks.
A standout highlight was a mantel clock by Josef Hoffmann from the founding year of the Wiener Werkstätte (1903), which was recognized as one of the ten most outstanding exhibits at the entire fair.
The dynamic presentation—strikingly contrasted with a drip painting by Hermann Nitsch—garnered attention, including a mention in The New York Times.
