    Description

This piece was designed by Robert Holubetz, one of Koloman Moser’s most talented students at the Vienna School of Arts and Crafts, who created the vase in 1901 on behalf of the E. Bakalowits Söhne glass factory. This particularly harmonious decorative vessel was produced by the Loetz glassworks in several sizes and with different decorative variations. Our vase with handles is characterised by its simple yet elegant shape. The slender neck of the vase rises upwards like the stem of a flower, crowned by the gracefully curved handle-shaped opening. The handles were skilfully fused onto the neck of the vase while it was still hot.
