Description
The decor PG 7499/I belongs to the group of early Phenomen Genre decorations. Loetz produced vessels with ruby red underlay only until the end of the 19th century. Thus, the production of the present vase can be dated before 1899.
A characteristic element of this decor is its wavy pattern. Combining larger horizontal bands on the body with a vertical pattern on the neck, makes its decoration very intriguing. The vase is signed with “Loetz Austria” on the polished pontil.
