His two sons Karl and Franz continued this tradition, and so, in the 1930s, Werkst\u00e4tte Hagenauer featured design objects that were used as window displays in upscale retail. The elegant lady&#8217;s arm with hand belongs to this group, just like, for example, lady&#8217;s busts used by jewelers for the impactful presentation of rings and necklaces. These extravagant items bear the futuristic signature of Franz Hagenauer from the 1930s. Designed artistically in tune with the times and crafted with high quality, they were excellently suited for an &#8220;image transfer&#8221; in exclusive trade.
