    Description

The decor variant Medici or Phenomen Gre 2/484 was very successful for Loetz. The combination of strongly shimmering silver oxide flakes and bright basic colors met the taste of the buyers head on at the time. Vases with an opalescent, deep blue background are particularly rare.
This vase’s contrast between the violet-blue ground color and the light, turquoise-green silver oxide flakes is particularly attractive. One is almost reminded of splashing, breaking waves striking against each other in the middle of a wide ocean. Such objects are an eye-catcher of every glass collection and very popular with collectors.
