    Description

The collaboration of Johann Loetz-Witwe with the glass installers E. Bakalowits Söhne lasted for about thirty years. However, the most significant artistic and historical pieces date back to the period between 1900 and 1903. This extraordinary example, also from this era, was produced as a commission by Bakalowits in collaboration with an architect.
The slender, upward-straight body of this vase provides a spacious area for its intricate decor to unfold. This model was executed on the very rare Diana ground in green, and the rolled-in silver oxides and bands beautifully emphasize the extravagant appearance of this vase.
