    Description

Together with the sculptures of antelopes, giraffes or elephants, the majestic gazelle head joins the group of extremely popular exotic animal depictions produced by the Werkstatte Hagenauer in the 1950s. The sloping neck and dynamically turned head perfectly express the powerful grace of this Ethiopian gazelle. The exotic elegance of the gazelle continues right up to the tips of the strikingly curved horns.
The head is executed in walnut and the grooved horns in patinated brass, the beautiful gazelle head stands for the masterful workmanship of wood and metal of the two Hagenauer workshops in Vienna and Fuschl near Salzburg.
