Annual exhibition 2022: Wiener Moderne – Malerei. Architektur. Plastik.

With great pleasure we presented this years’ autumn catalog of gallery Nikolaus Kolhammer during our annual exhibition. The third volume is titled “Viennese Modernism. Painting. Architecture. Sculpture.” according to the programmatic inscription above the entrance to the Vienna Secession. This artists’ association, home to the most progressive artists of their time, included influential painters, architects and designers such as Gustav Klimt, Josef Hoffmann and Joseph M. Olbrich. Whether Jugendstil furniture, glass rarities by Loetz, selected Wiener Werkstätte objects or Werkstätte Hagenauer sculptures and Fine Art, from all mentioned artists important objects are displayed in this catalog and were shown during the exhibition.
