Inspired by the iridescent art glass of Louis Comfort Tiffany, glass manufacturer Max Ritter von Spaun, owner of the Johann Loetz Witwe glassworks, began producing colorful decorations for his own glasses at the end of the 19th century. Famous designers such as Josef Hoffmann, Koloman Moser, Adolf Beckert, Otto Prutscher and Michael Powolny provided designs for this glassworks.
The glass objects of the Johann Loetz Witwe manufactory are today among the most sought-after products of the Viennese Art Nouveau. We have been dealing with this glassworks for more than fifteen years and today we are among the recognized experts in this field. These art glasses are among our favorite objects and we are connected with collectors and experts worldwide. Let yourself be inspired by the lightness, the colorfulness and the timeless design of these very extraordinary art objects.
